CABINETS BY KING
WARRANTY ON CUSTOM WOOD PRODUCTS

WHO IS COVERED?
This Warranty is extended to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable.

WHEN DOES COVERAGE START?
This Warranty starts the day after the installation is completed.

WHAT IS COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY?
Cabinets by King ensures that the original purchaser’s cabinetry will be free from defects of craftsmanship under typical household use for a one-year post-installation period.
Specifically, this Warranty covers:

  • Cabinet face frames
  • Cabinet boxes
  • Doors (warpage)
  • Shelving
  • End panels
  • Drawer faces/boxes
  • Drawer slides and hinges

WHAT IS NOT COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY?
This Warranty does not cover, and Cabinets by King will not be responsible for:

  • Damage or defects caused by accidents, misuse, or alterations made post-installation
  • Cabinetry installed in an environment that is not climate controlled
  • Cabinetry with water damage or exposure to extreme humidity swings
  • Natural characteristics of wood
  • Colorfastness of finishes
  • Perceived imperfections from finishing cabinets (or laminate) with a high gloss finish
  • Typical wear and tear

NATURAL CHARACTERISTICS OF WOOD
Natural wood can vary in texture, color, and grain, even from the same tree. Wood may show subtle changes over time. Painted doors, frames, and other painted parts may eventually show hairline “cracking” in joints where panels meet frames. Humidity, smoke, and household cleaners may accelerate these variations. These characteristics are normal and not covered under the warranty.

SPECIAL NOTES:
We build doors custom to your order. Larger doors have a higher chance of warping.

  • Doors ≤ 24” wide x 43” tall: 1/8” warpage tolerance
  • Doors > 24” wide x 43” tall: 1/4” warpage tolerance

Wood expands and contracts with humidity. Maintaining proper home humidity helps reduce warpage.

PERFORMANCE OF WARRANTY
